Drywall and insulation ranked third (8%), excavation fourth (8%) and landscaping (7%) fifth. CraftJack asked contractors and consumers to rank 32 categories of contractor jobs from the most physically demanding to the most difficult to master. Although roofing was considered to be the most physically demanding job, both contractors and consumers didn't think it would be difficult to master compared to other contracted jobs. The executive director of the National Roofing Contractors Association, Reid Ribble, believes that there is no need for such modesty.
